Dear Mr. Nash,

I was excited as anybody when the Suns traded for Shaq.

Like you, I thought he was the missing piece of a championship.

Now I know it will take some time for the chemistry to come, I know you guys still need to figure out your identity — but where has the energy been lately?

In those first couple of post-trade games, there was obviously a little extra vigor in the orange and purple, but where has that been the past couple of outings?

You guys have lost three of your last four while playing little defense. And even the win over Memphis was not nearly as convincing as it should have been.

As a concerned fan, I'm asking you — the leader of the team — to get the rest of your boys fired up, because I think the team has the necessary tools to bring the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy to Phoenix, but not if the sluggish play continues.
