And so concludes arguably the most exciting four days in sports.

I know that I was perfectly content to spend my Easter weekend sitting on my couch, watching the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, even if I was screaming at the television and ripping up my bracket by the end of it.

The upsets that I definitely didn't see coming? Try every first-round game played in Tampa Bay.

If you honestly had Western Kentucky, San Diego, Villanova and Siena all advancing to the second round, hunt me down on campus, and I will give you my entire stash of Easter candy.

But the most satisfying part of the tournament so far for me was watching UA get bounced in the first round.

The Wildcats' RPI and strength of schedule that everyone kept talking about couldn't save them on Thursday because eventually you have to beat good teams, not just play them.

By the way, the Sun Devils are still playing ball and are taking on the two-time defending national champions, the Florida Gators, at Wells Fargo Arena on Tuesday night for the right to advance to the NIT Final Four in the Big Apple.

After the disappointment of Selection Sunday last weekend, it suddenly doesn't seem so bad to be a basketball fan in Tempe.
