OPINIONS
Opinions: Boos & Bravos
See what the editorial board selected for this week's Boos & Bravos.

Opinions: Cutting hope from the budget
BRANCH: This'll be my first opinion after three weeks of not writing, and I know many of my avid readers, or the more likely kind who skim over it because it's by the political cartoon, are probably expecting a witty opinion about the field I have the most knowledge in — entertainment.

I'm sorry to disappoint, but there is one particular subject that has been bothering me these past couple weeks and that is Phoenix's huge cuts in the budget.

Opinions: Forgive and forget
WOOD: What if you won the lottery, but they paid you — unannounced to you — all at once in loose cash in the middle of Times Square? You wouldn't be very appreciative, would you?

They would start to give you handful after handful of cash, and you would try to stuff it in your pockets or under you arms, but after about the fourth bunch, you won't know what to do with it. The rest of the loot would pile up around your feet, and you would lose it to pedestrians or the wind. You would have preferred if they had given it you in a bag.

Opinions: Welcome to mud-slinging madness
DHANINI: The Democratic Party's presidential campaign is getting increasingly interesting as members of either camp have started resorting to name-calling and making false accusations toward one another. In the fervor, however, many are neglecting the true implications of what the accusations mean.
