Tempe to review graffiti policy

TAGGED: Tempe’s mayor and a city councilman have agreed to re-examine how the city deals with graffiti like these markings at Southern Avenue and Hardy Drive. With city officials looking to re-examine Tempe's policy on graffiti, some supporters of graffiti art are hoping that their voices will be heard as well.

TUNNEL INSTRUCTION: Design sophomore Elenia Sotell sets up for the “Tunnel of Oppression” event held in the residential commons at ASU Downtown Phoenix campus. It is a multimedia and multi-sensory learning experience designed to build social awareness and understanding. 	An hour-long trip through a "tunnel" could give Downtown Phoenix students insight into the types of oppression faced by segments of our society.

Police Beat: Narcotics Bureau arrest seven men in marijuana ring
The Narcotics Bureau arrested seven men Thursday after investigators discovered a marijuana ring that sold and transported the drug to Michigan. The men range in age from 21 to 25 and were arrested at three different homes in Laveen, police reported.

Ex-regent aims for county post
