The next frontier

We are all kind of pissed about going downtown next semester for our journalism degrees.
Movin' up, movin' out

My name is Matthew Grossman. I am one of the founders of Dorm Room Movers, a company that is changing the way ASU students think about moving. My partner Leor Lapid and I met our sophomore year at ASU. We quickly found that we shared the same passions and zest for business and began looking for new concepts to bring to ASU's campus. Together, we worked on multiple entrepreneurial initiatives and even applied for the Edson grant for one of them. Although we learned incredibly from each of them, none held the potential for our aspirations and slowly faded.
Gourmet House of Hong Kong

In the quest for good Chinese food, it's hard to sort through the array of food-court orange chicken, poor-quality meat and cheap-tasting sauces. Thankfully, after sampling endless plates of mediocre Chinese, I stumbled upon something everyone can enjoy. Phoenix's Gourmet House of Hong Kong offers one of the longest menus of any Valley restaurant with reasonable prices and flavorful entrees.
So metal!

Metalheads don't get enough credit. Oftentimes, their music is unjustly reduced to "just a bunch of noise."
Collectively Conspire

The little blue-brick house that sits on the northeast corner of Fifth and Garfield streets in downtown Phoenix's art area is not just another art space — it's a community.
Pencil me in

The pencil skirt is synonymous with the sexy secretary, the sexy career woman and the sexy teacher. Basically, the skirt is downright sexy. ASU supply chain management alumna Erin Chow is a fan of the pencil skirt. Currently a business analyst with Mervyn's, Chow says she likes to spice up her work wardrobe.
Some fishy advice

Looking for a way to make your roommates pick up their dirty laundry, or do the dishes instead of building a putrid pile in the sink?
Twitterpated

For some, the concept of "spring fever" means a boost of energy and a need to clean the house. For others, it means a more frequent tug in the pants.
Take some surfing lessons
With everything that's on the Internet, anything that saves time while surfing is worth checking out. It's no surprise that there are tons of Web sites that have that goal in mind. Here are a few sites that can make simplifying your life just a click away.
Sparking a trend

Forget Tupperware, jewelry and even pleasure parties — the new trend in women's house parties is something a little more electrifying.
Don't I know you? Liz Simonhoff

As president of Undergraduate Student Government, Liz Simonhoff has helped bring speakers like Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Barack Obama to campus, informed students about the environment and gotten them back on their bicycles.
